Costume, Makeup and Hair design team of Boardwalk Empire
We almost couldn’t fit everyone in the photograph! Designing Women 2012 was a fabulous year. We honored makeup artists Jenn Jorge Nelson (30 Rock, Baby Mama, Hope and Faith) and Julie Teel (30 Rock, Ugly Betty, In Treatment), hair stylist and wigmaker Amanda Miller (Inside Llewyn Davis, Smash, I Just Want My Pants Back, Saturday Night Live), and costume designer Kasia Walicka Maimone (Moonrise Kingdom, Moneyball, The Adjustment Bureau), and of course the costume, makeup and hair design team of Boardwalk Empire received the Variety Ensemble Award.
You know who else was there? Tina Fey, Harvey Keitel (via video), Grammy winner Lady Rizo, Oscar-nominated director Bennett Miller (Moneyball, Capote), and Steve Buscemi. Kristen Schaal (30 Rock, Bob’s Burgers, Flight of the Conchords) was the evening’s emcee.
