Conceived, developed and executed award-winning, high-grossing broadcast specials and DVDs. Found and developed new talent. Negotiated budgets and titles with distributor, Sony Wonder, bringing every production in on schedule and on budget. Titles include:
Elmo s Musical Adventure, Sesame Street s version of Prokofiev s Peter and the Wolf featuring the Boston Pops Orchestra. Won Parents Choice Award.
Elmo s World: Happy Holidays , PBS special about Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanzaa, starring Kelly Ripa and Bill Irwin. Won Parents Choice Award.
Elmo s Magic Cookbook, the first Food Network special produced for children, featuring Emeril Lagasse. Won Parents Choice Award.
Bert Ernie s Word Play, direct to video Muppet special about the power of words.

Elmopalooza, ABC prime-time musical special featuring Jon Stewart, The Fugees, Jimmy Buffett and more. Sold over 1 million units and won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children.

Associate Producer: Sesame Street 1990-1994
Principal production team liaison, coordinating directors, talent, set designers, costume designers and graphics for smooth, timely productions. Scouted talent and locations. Produced location shoots, supervised post-production, commissioned animation and live action film.


Production Supervisor: Sing Sesame Street Remembers Joe Raposo and his Music 1990 Responsible for location and studio productions, hiring all facilities and personnel, establishing production schedules, negotiating rights for acquired segments. Managed budget. Coordinated post-production.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

REHABILITATION THROUGH THE ARTS

Board of Directors 2013-present
Identify funding sources and expand awareness for RTA, an organization that teaches transformative life skills to prisoners through theater, dance, music, creative writing and visual art. Currently developing program to bring this arts curriculum to at-risk youth with the help of released graduates.



WESTCHESTER YOUTH ALLIANCE

Co-Founder and President, Board of Directors 2011-present
Responsible for all programming, budget, outreach and publicity for non-profit that brings together Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist and non-affiliated teens, providing opportunities for service work, education and social interaction to break down barriers and promote interfaith understanding. Supervise the Programming Director.

TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE, KATONAH-LEWISBORO SCHOOL DISTRICT

Community Representative 2012-present
Create strategic plan for use of technology to teach K-12 students. Worked with administration and teachers to hire Technology Director.

VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

Leader Organizer 2006-present
Planned and videotaped 1000 person event to raise awareness about environmental issues with workshops by Robert Kennedy, Bob Woodruff among others. Created and led sustainability program that brought curriculum change, events and after school programs into the Rippowam-Cisqua School. Organized festivals,film screenings and lectures.
