I started my career in entertainment through theatre. I worked everything from sound/lighting, stage craft, props, to stage managing. I transferred these skills to enter the Film and TV industry. I used my previous management experience to gain employment at a prop house in 2012, Film Biz Recycling. I worked alongside Art Directors to assist in collecting props and curating pieces for events, films, displays, etc. One of my favorite gigs was curating a collection of props for an event for Jim Jarmusch.

Through working at the prop house, I was able to also get Freelance work as a visual artist. I assisted with various events and window displays. Since the closure of the prop house in 2015, I’ve worked at Brooklyn Workforce Innovations with the “Made in NY” PA Training Program. We train under/unemployed diverse individuals to work as PAs in the TV and Film Industry. We train them on all departments and set etiquette to assist them in their new career path.
