Mari SanGiovanni is an award-winning LGBTQ filmmaker, screenwriter, director and owner of Love Is Love Productions, LLC, and is also a published author of four novels, and multiple screenplays, two of which have been produced as short films: THE SIBLING RULE (picked up by a LGBTQ streaming service, Lesflicks) and RETREAT which will be in festivals in 2025.
Full Bio
My first film, The Sibling Rule, won 5 film festivals in the LGBTQ and woman categories. My second film, Retreat, finished post production and is entering festivals in January 2025.

Multi-award screenwriter for my first film and for a screenplay based on my best-selling novel, Greetings From Jamaica Wish You Were Queer. I have 4 published novels with Bywater Books for the LGBTQ community.
I work full-time as a divisional manager of product development for TJX Companies in Framingham Massachusetts.
My 4th novel, Liddy-Jean Marketing Queen, is a novel which features a main character with intellectual and developmental disabilities and was published in June 2024, of which I hope to make a film adaptation.
