Leslie is a Supervising Producer and Head of Branded Content at the NYC-based production company, Diagonal Media.

In 2023 she co-directed the documentary short, DESERTED (2023) about the food insecurity crisis in America. DESERTED was an official selection of the Justice Film Festival and Farm to Film Festival. That same year she was a Supervising Producer and Writer on the documentary short, BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL (2023) about three LGBTQ+ playwrites who defied censorship to tell their stories. BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL premiered at the Lincoln Center and was an official selection of the Out on Film Festival and Seattle Queer Film Festival.

Leslie approaches storytelling as a writer-first. Her first step is to understand the central “why” of a story and unveil the universal truths that create compelling and authentic narratives. As a director, Leslie energizes talent and production crews around a collective, creative vision and guides all creators towards a cohesive and emotionally resonant story.
