Chinese American filmmaker Jingwen Zhao grew up in all corners of America. Being raised in a Chinese household but educated with American values, she is a blend of unique cultural perspectives. Her storytelling prioritizes on showing what the eyes see is not always the same as what is within. She tells stories which center around misjudged and mistreated characters' upbringing. Amplifying a perspective of the under-represented that at first glance may not be appreciated but ends with entertainment and understanding. Drama filled with action, psychological, and thriller is her type.
