Full Bio
I am currently creating and producing timely dramatic films and series such as "The Seventh Summer"’s dive into a young woman’s reckoning of a painful family truth involving sexual abuse. This limited series is based on the best-selling novel "The Forgotten Hours" by Katrin Schumann. Under my production banner She Spun Films, I am dedicated to magnifying the female perspective while exploring complex characters in their memorable stories.
When earning my BA degree in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, I played flute in a jazz band, performed as a modern dancer, and made short films. After receiving my MFA in film from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I worked under the tutelage of John Sayles and Maggie Renzi for five years as associate producer and post-production supervisor. While raising my children in NYC, I have enjoyed a prolific career as post producer and co-producer for writers/directors such as Michael Cuesta, Kasi Lemmons, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, as well as Oscar® win
