Erika Wortham comes to NYWIFT with an extensive background in TV News and is currently working as a member of the Director's team for ABC's Good Morning America.

Erika Wortham is a 20-year veteran of the television news business. A graduate of Howard University's School of Communications, she has written/produced/directed
Telly Award winning videos for SRB Productions Inc. and has produced content for
CBS News, New York Post and SK Media. Erika has served as a National News Emmy Awards judge and a mentor for the National Association of Black Journalist Student Projects where she continues to advise former mentees. She is an active member of Director's Guild of America serving as 2nd Vice Chair of the Eastern PA/SM/AD Council.
Currently, Erika works as a DGA Production Associate in on-air graphics production for ABC's Good Morning America. She is also producing the documentary A Movement: The Black Theatre Project and co-producer/director/writer on the narrative short A Complement to Coffee.
