eryl Berk is a renowned New York Times Bestselling author and celebrity ghostwriter for stars including Britney Spears, Derek Hough, Zendaya, Wendy Williams. She has written over 75 books—numerous of them bestsellers-- in her illustrious career. The founding editor-in-chief of Life & Style Weekly, Sheryl has spent more than 30 years covering Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and Broadway. She served as the entertainment editor for both McCall’s Magazine and A&E Biography, profiling A-list stars including Barbra Streisand, Hugh Jackman, Reese Witherspoon, and Tom Cruise. She attended Syracuse University, where she studied classical voice at VPA and media at the Newhouse School.
Her journalism credits include dozens of articles in InStyle, The New York Daily News, Theater Week and In Theater, among others. An established playwright and screenwriter and member of ASCAP as well as the Dramatists Guild. She is currently developing several projects with AGI and others for TV and film.

• Peace, Love and Cupcakes: GoKid Go audio series. Currently scripting and executive producing
narrative podcast series (50 episodes) debuting May 14, 2024 for leading kids’ audio imagination
company repped by UTA.
• Peace, Love and Cupcakes, The Musical: script for The New York Musical Festival production
in 2017. Received two awards from NYMF and is currently available for licensing with
Broadway Licensing.
• Fashion Academy: The Musical: script for Off-Broadway world premiere in 2015 by Vital
Theatre; currently available for licensing with Concord Theatricals.
• Outta This World: script based on the music of “Kindie Rock” composer/recording artist Mr. Ray, for
Pushcart Players (http://www.pushcartplayers.org). Currently touring schools and community
theaters nationally.
• Dance Divas: Nutcracker: script for world premiere holiday musical Off-Broadway production by Kids
of the Arts
