Shanko Sudo is a Japanese producer/writer/director based in New York City. A graduate of the film program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, as well as American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she has worked professionally in the production industry for 20 years.brAfter graduating with BFA degree in 1993, she took a job at FCI, a New York subsidiary of Fuji TV Network of Japan. There, she was given opportunities to cover various materials, from Presidential Election to Fashion Week. She later joined a production team of NY-Go, Fuji's weekly comedy sketch show as a writer/director.br

After she became a freelancer, she has worked on a number of documentaries for major Japanese television networks including NHK, TBS, NTV, TV asahi and Fuji, traveling all over the US, Canada and Latin America. She has produced over 100 segments for Mezamashi TV, top-rated morning show in Japan, occasionally appearing on-screen as a reporter. She also worked as a production coordinator for live sporting events, including Super Bowl, Worl
