Full Bio
From a theater background (including actor, director, choreographer, and Resident Artist of the Dallas Theater Center in Texas) Anna became a therapist and teacher. An explorer, curious about ritual and the mysterious, Anna Ivara created specialized group travel experiences to the islands of Indonesia for over 14 years. Her travels into the jungles and villages of Indonesia inspired her to study anthropology and ethnography, and led her to documentary filmmaking after studying film at NYU, and getting a Master˝s Degree in Media Studies at the New School University.
