Kate Herzlin is a New York-based screenwriter, playwright, producer & humor writer. Her humorous writing can be found in McSweeney's, The Belladonna Comedy, Weekly Humorist, Little Old Lady Comedy, Points in Case, and more. She works as Director of Development at production company, Burgeon & Flourish. Previously, she was the Literary Assistant at Bret Adams Artists' Agency, and Musical Theatre Fellow at Playwrights Horizons. Her co-written musical, PETER PAN AND WENDY: THE NEVERLAND TAKEOVER won the BroadwayWorld Philadelphia Best New Work Award. Her pilot script, HALLE HAD CANCER, OK, is a Semi-Finalist in the 2020 Scriptation Showcase Awards and a Finalist for the Athena Film Festival 2020 Virtual Lab.
