Shari likes to write dark, funny shit - usually with a messy woman at the helm. Her scripts have gotten her into The Writer's Lab (2022), and have placed in AFF (2nd round), and as a semi-finalist for the Big Apple FF Screenplay Competition, among many others. She is a multi-hyphenate creative. The first short film she wrote and directed won Best Female Content Creator at the Bowery Film Festival and has screened at festivals across the country. She is currently in development with a feature and was recently published in SHE PERSISTED (Applause Books), a book of monologues written by women playwrights. She’s based in NYC.
