Rita Marcocci is founder of Verus Studios,LLC an award-winning production studio based in Westport, CT. Her most recent project was the Oscar and BAFTA shortlisted film The One Note Man. To date, the film has won 43 awards globally. Currently in production is a short film collaboration with the Academy Award-winning team at Slick Films; a feature film based on The One Note Man short; an unscripted series set in Italy and a podcast celebrating female creatives from around the world. Previously Rita served as Vice President for FOX Television in NYC responsible for overseeing revenue streams, market share growth, and managing personnel. She created partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and major league sports teams including the NFL, MLB, WNBA, and FIFA. An accomplished sales, marketing and entertainment executive Rita served in highly strategic roles in the televisionindustry, including as an award-winning producer and programming executive.
