Luisa De La Ville is a filmmaker with over 45 years of experience. During the past 25 years, she’s worked mostly as Producer of fiction and documentary feature films. Before that, she worked as Assistant Director, Editor, Script Supervisor and TV Director.
She has produced five fiction films as well as her most recent documentary Children of Las Brisas, which had its World Premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest in the UK and its North American Premiere, at DOC NYC in 2022. Luisa is a Venezuelan filmmaker based in NYC.
Currently, besides working on the film’s distribution and running the festival circuit, Luisa is developing her upcoming documentaries.

Luisa De La Ville is a filmmaker with over 45 years of experience. During the past 25 years, she’s worked mostly as Producer of fiction and documentary feature films. Before that, she worked as Assistant Director, Editor, Script Supervisor and TV Director. She teaches film workshops and is one of the founders of ABICINE, the Social Welfare Network for Venezuelan Filmmakers.
She has produced four fiction films as well as her most recent documentary Children of Las Brisas, which had its World Premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest in the UK in June 2022, and its North American Premiere, at DOC NYC in November 2022. Children of Las Brisas was aired on Independent Lens/PBS; on France Televisions and on the Dutch E-O in 2023. Luisa is a Venezuelan filmmaker based in NYC.
