Full Bio
Cynthia Bastidas, a NY-based actor, founded Semillita Productions in response to the lack of diversity in roles for Latine actors and the stories being told about the pan-Latinx experience in the United States. Her first project was a 10-minute play turned short film, Going Down, which she wrote and starred in. Her short film missguidance, was accepted into nine festivals in 2020. She is currently developing a feature length documentary examining anti-Blackness in the Latine community.
