Director/Producer Kavery Kaul breaks the barriers between them and us with her award winning documentaries shown in theaters and on television, in the U.S. and internationally. Her films have been screened at the National Museum of Women in Art (DC), the Whitney Museum of American Art (NYC), the High Museum (Atlanta) and the Cleveland Museum of Art. at festivals including Telluride, London, Rotterdam, Sydney. in countries including India, Japan, Italy and Burkina Faso. ABC News' Bob Woodruff, himself a brain injury survivor, calls Back Walking Forward 'an amazing, absorbing documentary about traumatic brain injury, filled with laughter and love.' Showcased at the Maysles Cinema (NYC), the film is featured at disabilities conferences worldwide. Long Way from Home, three teenagers' intimate story of race, class and culture, was a Critics' Pick in Booklist, Time Out and Film Threat.
