Ari Fulton is a New York-based costume designer for stage and film. Ms. Fulton has built a diverse career designing theatrical costumes nationally and internationally. Ms. Fulton holds an MFA in Design for Stage and Film, from New York University’s, Tisch School of the Arts. In 2018, Ms. Fulton received her first feature film credit, for her costume design work on the film Nigerian Prince, shot on location in Lagos, Nigeria. The film is executively produced by Spike Lee and is the first recipient of tTribeca and AT&T New Voices Award. Recent film design credits include: Incomplete written and directed by Zoey Martinson (NAACP Image Award Nominee, 2023), Cupids written and directed by Zoey Martinson (Cannes, 2022), Disney Television Discovers S1, E2, E3, E5, E7, E9. Stage credits include Rent (OSF, 2023), The  L'Amant Anonyme (MINN Opera, 2022), Confederates written by Dominique Morisseau (Lortel nominee for Outstanding Costume Design, 2022), Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical (New World Stages, 2022).
