Avis takes great pride in her leadership role and service in SAG-AFTRA.† She has served and still serves on several committees at the union including a past National Board member.† She is currently serving on the NY Local Board, Vice Chair of the Women s Committee and many others.† She takes great pride in serving the SAG-AFTRA membership.†She also serves as Co-President of Women in the Arts and Media Coalition, a position she has held for over 6 years, having served as a board member of that organization for more that 10 years.††The Women in the Arts & Media Coalition combines our member organizations' abilities and strengths, focusing on issues of concern to women in the arts and media, through advocacy, mentoring, networking, and events.†Her credits include work as a stunt performer, print work, industrials, voice overs, commercials, film and television.
