It’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me, why? For the past two years (yes, during lockdown and beyond), I've been writing. This deep dive into 3 new screenplays has recently taken me to France, in an incredibly creative adventure surrounded by immersion into the culture and inspiration from the surroundings.

I’m back from 3 months in an ‘artist in residency’ program …7 weeks in Noyers sur Serein at La Porte Peinte, Centre pour les Arts, and 5 weeks in Paris, finalizing the trio of films that will be made in France and environs. The films are lyrically styled in magical realism, myth and narrative and seen through the female gaze and the eyes and wisdom of Ancestors. This experience was truly a magic carpet ride –– life-changing and creatively awe-inspiring.
