Cara Yeates is a Canadian/American filmmaker living in New York, where she is a partner, producer, and director at the boutique production company Trigger Creative. Yeates has produced over one hundred film projects worldwide, including narrative, documentary, and commercial content.

Highlights from her narrative work include producing the award-winning pilot for “Strut,” which was a part of the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, and the indie feature film “The Three Metamorphoses,” which is in post-production.

Cara has directed videos with Alexander Wang, Ford, Karlie Kloss, Bloomingdales, Uber, and Morgan Stanley. Yeates is finishing her narrative short inspired by her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease, “Gone Before Your Eyes.”

She is also working on several documentary projects, including “Echoes of Foreign Films” about the influence of foreign film in America and “Supersight,” a documentary series that examines the future of virtual and augmented reality, based on MIT scientist David Rose’s book
