Full Bio
Martirez began her broadcasting career working as a weekend anchor and reporter for KOMU in Columbia, Missouri. She then moved on to WXII in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she worked as a morning anchor and reporter.
Martirez joined KTTV's morning news and its Good Day LA programs in 1995.
Prior to arriving at KTTV, Martirez worked at the CBS-owned KCNC-TV anchoring their morning newscasts while also hosting the Emmy Award winning syndicated children's newsmagazine "News for Kids".
