Neha Belvalkar is a NYC-based creative producer with 10+ years of experience, making 30+ nonfiction films for clients like Twilio and Cisco. She has worked as an assistant director on indie films in Mumbai and with community video initiatives in India.

Full Bio
Neha Belvalkar is a filmmaker with a background in both fiction and documentary filmmaking since 2006. She began her career in Mumbai, India, working as an assistant director on independent films like Dev Benegal’s Road, Movie (2009) and Nandita Das’s Firaaq (2008). She also contributed to community video initiatives such as Video Volunteers in Goa, India, empowering marginalized communities to tell their own stories through film.

Neha moved to the U.S. to pursue her MFA in filmmaking, graduating from Ohio University in 2014, and is now based in NYC. Over the past decade, she has worked as a creative producer, creating over 30 short nonfiction films for clients including Twilio, UC San Francisco, the Anita Borg Institute, Autodesk, Cisco, and TriNet. Her work focuses on impactful storytelling, highlighting how these organizations make a difference in communities and the world through their products and services.
