Kathleen Wallace began her career in communications and new media as a community manager for sites such as Gamelon.com, Developer.com, and iVillage.com. this was back in the mid-1990s when internet companies had to have _x001C_.com_x001D_ in their names. She eventually worked her way up to Senior Community Manager in charge of all non-branded communities in the iVillage network. Projects at iVillage included an online Domestic Resource Center that gained sponsorship from Verizon Wireless and a online _x001C_radio shows_x001D_, aka podcasts before podcasts were a thing.

After the dotcom bubble burst, Kathleen put her Yale degree in acting to use in regional theatre as well as in some indie film and television. Favorite roles from this time include Catherine in PROOF and Annie Sullivan in THE MIRACLE WORKER. She also continued her work in communications and new media with community management for companies such as WeightWatchers.com where she and the other community manager helped leverage community conversati
