Basic Qualifications:


  • Graduate from a media-related training program (such as Reel Works, BRIC Foundation, California Department of Education etc.), a graduate of a 2-year program or equivalent work experience
  • Proper work authorization to be employed within the United States for full length of the program (October-April)
  • Current NYC or LA resident or lives within commuting distance of one of the cities
  • Must have a flexible schedule to participate in up to 40 hours of training during the one week Bootcamp
  • Must be available to commit to the program timeline and participate in the program full time
  • Must be 18 years or older by September 2024

Additional Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the entertainment and media industry; passionate about making amazing content that can live on social media, linear television, or the big-screen!
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • A good problem solver
  • Highly collaborative, open-minded, feedback-seeking attitude with the ability to pivot as necessary
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate concisely
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, AVID, and After Effects is a big plus
  • Comfortable working with Google Docs, Sheets, MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook

Program Dates:

Bootcamp October 7 - October 11, 2024*

Placement October 14, 2024 – April 18, 2025*

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
