  • Graphically apt: you’re very comfortable using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Cool-hunter: you are aware of, and interested in, cultural currents, and design trends, and are always on the hunt for what's hot — and are able to apply them to your designs. 
  • Self-starting: you can co-lead and self-manage deliverables, balancing concept, collaboration, execution, and delivery across various timelines.
  • Attention to detail: you have a great eye and strong attention to detail in both written and visual content.
  • Adaptable: you’re willing to try different design aesthetics and you welcome critique.
  • Creative thinker: you possess creative flair, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collaborate with the Creative Team on various design-based projects in a fast-paced environment to support a range of creative marketing initiatives
  • Assist with the production and delivery of creative content including but not limited to email campaigns, newsletters, social media content (including video), blog posts, and print collateral 
  • Design digital event invitations and print signage
  • Utilize digital image library, stock photography, as well as client or vendor assets, including but not limited to websites, photography, and logos in developing creative
  • Collaborate with Creative Team in social media content preparation, execution, and content posting schedule, including caption copywriting, curating, and organizing
  • Continually provide insight into industry best practices, design trends, software innovation, and content generation ideas
  • Assist the team with a variety of administrative tasks, operational projects, and account management


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS; 

  • Bachelor's Degree level or higher.
  • Aptitude with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
  • Ability to apply typography, layout, color theory, and other graphic design fundamentals across a range of tools and platforms, including editable documents and platforms such as Google Slides and Canva.
  • Strong writing, grammatical and proofreading skills with an elevated level of creativity.
  • Knowledge of social landscape (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn Pinterest, etc) and experience making social-first content.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure multiple projects with varying timelines, needs, and approvals inputs are completed.
  • Outstanding listening skills with the ability to quickly identify and reach the desired outcome.
  • Effective research skills and the ability to communicate findings in a helpful, relevant, and articulate manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Polished and positive demeanor.
  • Equally comfortable and confident working in a team environment or working autonomously.
  • Knowledgeable in WordPress, Salesforce, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience or interest in creating motion graphics and animations.
