Jonathan Strauss Casting is seeking multiple casting assistants, across multiple network series, beginning mid July. Duties include maintaining and organizing lists, scheduling sessions and meetings, operating camera, editing and uploading videos, writing breakdowns, communicating with agents and managers, and assisting with both creative and administrative needs. We are seeking experienced assistants but are also willing to train a former intern/budding assistant with an eagerness for learning and an honest work ethic. Looking for a team player with a great sense of humor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are a very busy, passionate, and actor-friendly office. We take great pride in creating a welcoming and warm environment for our auditioning actors. Familiarity with our current series (Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, Law & Order: Organized Crime) a major plus! Mac laptop will be provided. We are currently working remotely using Slack workspace, Google docs/suite, and Zoom, but candidates should be based in the New York area in anticipation of a move back to in-person office hours. This is a full-time, full-season job with potential to return for future seasons as well as growth. Please do not apply if you are not available July 2021 through May 2022.
