Seasonal Assistant, Episodic Program (Remote)

Working closely under the Director, Episodic Program, this temporary position works part-time (20 hours per week) from Wednesday, September 4, 2024 through Wednesday, December 11, 2024. This is a fully remote position that does not require any onsite work duties.


Top priorities for this position include, but are not limited to...

  • Assisting with planning Industry Day serving as a post-Lab touchpoint for 2023 Fellows. This would include but is not limited to: compiling guest list, organizing email communications, serving as point of contact for guests, building and circulating graphics/assets, supporting our Operations/Events team
  • Tracking submissions of Fellows’ creative materials to Industry Members
  • Monitoring Episodic email inbox, replying to queries from prospective applicants
  • Participating in the evaluation process for program submissions; including reading, providing coverage, and recording and tracking evaluation notes of the team\'s final selections.
  • Serving as a point of contact and program representative with Industry Members, including studio executives, producers, and artist agents and managers.
  • Coordinating a full range of departmental administrative duties, including maintaining multiple google calendars, timelines, assisting with scheduling meetings, and slotting participants of the program, in addition to other work.
  • Providing onsite logistical coordination and support during gatherings, workshops, and panels.
  • Collaborating with multiple departments to meet deadlines, set schedules, and ensure the needs of attending Program Fellows and Advisors are met.
  • Gathering, contributing, recording, and attending multiple weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintaining Airtable and archive docs within GoogleSuite.
  • Assisting with special projects as assigned.
  • You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • 1 year of administrative, nonprofit program coordination, or agency experience preferred.
  • Experience reading and evaluating scripts and providing coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording, tracking, and issuing information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Interest and knowledge of the TV industry, including agencies, studios, networks and production companies.
  • Knowledge of the episodic digital space, including creators, websites, and digital networks and a background in the TV industry preferred.
  • Experience using Airtable, GoogleSuite, and Zoom preferred.
