Audio Editor and Restoration Engineer

Job Description:

*Perform audio restorations on feature soundtracks using Pro Tools, iZotope RX, and other restoration tools.

*Edit, mix and master audio commentaries and special features.

*Quality Control of soundtracks, commentaries and other special features.

*Full time, entry level position

*Union Square, NYC location

Job Qualifications:

*Pro Tools proficiency and iZotope RX experience. Audio restoration and dialog editing experience a plus.

*Knowledge of video, audio and film formats and standards. Familiarity with VTR machines including HDCAM, Digibeta, and D5 a plus.

*Strong appreciation for world cinema.

*Good attention to detail.

*Strong language, writing skills.

*Ability to work well with others and independently. Reliable & responsible.

*Ability to problem-solve and/or troubleshoot technical equipment.
