When evening sets in, Beth (Tessa Thompson) is one of many volunteers manning helplines to lend a kind ear to people in crisis. An understated drama about a night in the life of a mental health helpline volunteer, The Listener is a stirring testament to the power of empathy.
The Listener is co-produced by NYWIFT Board Member Joyce Pierpoline. Learn more about the 15 NYWIFT members with projects at Tribeca 2023!
