New York Women in Film & Television is delighted to partner again with the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) (October 4 – 14, 2024) for our Annual Brunch and co-present the Filmmakers Calling the Shots short film showcase – all in celebration of the outstanding achievements by women and nonbinary filmmakers at the festival.

THE SOLACE OF SISTERHOOD

The Caramel Curves are an all-Black female biker crew in New Orleans that defies societal norms by embracing their multifaceted identities.


 
 
 

The Hamptons International Film Festival was founded to celebrate Independent film—long, short, fiction and documentary—and to introduce a unique and varied spectrum of international films and filmmakers to our audiences. The festival is committed to exhibiting films that express fresh voices and differing global perspectives, with the hope that these programs will enlighten audiences, provide invaluable exposure for filmmakers and present inspired entertainment for all.
