Famous for her four-step speed painting instruction and her appearances on talk shows for the past 50 years, artist Conni Gordon filmed her “painting parties” and other gatherings which encouraged everyone to pick up brushes. This reel, preserved by the Women’s Film Preservation Fund, documents a Conni Gordon painting event as Miami’s Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in 1961.
