New York Women in Film & Television is excited to share that 10 of our members are involved in films that have been selected for the 12th Edition Chelsea Film Festival. The festival’s Founder and CEO is NYWIFT Member Ingrid Jean-Baptiste

This year’s Chelsea Film Festival will take place October 16-20, 2024 in person at Regal Theatres Union Square and online.

Olivia, a young artist living in Boston, questions her impending move to New York. At a dinner party, and a chance encounter the very next day, Olivia finds an original and unexpected connection with Phillip, a ‘peculiar’ philosophy student. Over the course of the fall, as her move approaches, Olivia must contend with her evolving relationships, and find the courage to match her ambition and pursue her desires.

Daruk, a Caribbean man, is living in a real estate listing in upstate New York. Colleen, a real estate agent, is trying to sell it. As they each try to find out why they’re there and why they won’t – or can’t – leave the house, they develop an intense connection. The house has a life of its own, echoing their thoughts and desires, offering passages to secret spaces – and the consequences are everlasting.
