Raised in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, with Spanish as her first language, Nairoby embraced a unique bi-cultural identity that she channels into her art. Her passion for storytelling and cultural expression found an early home in theatre, paving the way for her career.
Nairoby is the founder of YOLO! Productions, a production company committed to amplifying the voices of women in theatre, film, and television. YOLO! Productions has also become known for its innovative approach to site-specific projects, creating immersive and transformative experiences that connect audiences with stories in unique and meaningful ways.
Her solo performance, ‘Til Sunday, offers a profound glimpse into a family that defines what it means to be Cuban, what it means to be an immigrant, and, ultimately, what it means to be American. The play, which explores themes of resilience and identity, has toured regionally and an Off-Broadway workshop in the fall of 2025 at Outside the Box Theatrics.
Nairoby’s received an MFA from Brooklyn College, a BA from Marymount Manhattan College, and training at the renowned Circle in the Square Theatre School and The Hangar Theatre. She has been awarded the Schubert Scholar Award, a TOW International Research Fellowship, and the distinction of being named Best of Brooklyn College.
