By Sofiya Saykovska

Welcome to NYWIFT, Veronica Moya!

Driven by a belief in every child’s innate wisdom and spiritual connection, Veronica founded a platform dedicated to nurturing these qualities. Her mission is to empower children to embrace their truths confidently, equipping them with the tools to navigate life’s adventures while staying true to their inner spirit.

Through her work, Veronica instills a sense of self-awareness and inner security, guiding children to realize their role as creators of their own happiness and fulfillment in the world.

Describe yourself – give us your elevator pitch!

I am a children’s entertainer, originally from Argentina. I have a background in musical theater. I am currently working on a children’s educational show about meditation and mindfulness. The show is not for theater, though, but rather a web-series or a TV show. I am looking for an agent who could help me sell the show.

What brought you to NYWIFT?

I came to NYWIFT because I wanted to connect with other women in the industry. I am interested in building community and collaborating on each other’s projects.

As someone with a diverse range of talents, from education to entertainment, can you tell us about your journey and how you discovered your passion for both?

I started my career at the age of 17 when I founded a children’s entertainment company in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since that first business venture, my work has expanded, deepened, and spiraled in several key directions—all of which reflect my passion for exploring how people can use their own inherent abilities to enjoy a more fulfilled and happy life.

As a teacher and lecturer, I was invited to speak at various venues in the Tri-state area. I was a weekly columnist in Telemundo and I was featured in the New York Times, The Post and NBC.

Currently you work as an intuitive teacher and spiritual mentor for children. In your opinion, what are some of the key benefits of meditation, especially for children, and how can parents and educators encourage its practice?

I consider meditation and mindfulness to be life skills that every child needs to learn and have in their toolbox. Meditation helps us regulate emotions, put things in perspective and allows us to achieve goals that seemed unattainable. Meditation is not about relaxation, it’s about mind training. We train the mind to work in our favor.

From her website: “I started this business because it really pains me to see so many people living unhappy and unbalanced lives only because they have not been given this information earlier in life. Introducing mindfulness and encouraging a relationship with Spirit from an early age can improve the quality of our adult life.”

Finally, what projects are you currently working on, and what can we expect to see from you in the future?

My show is a 20 minute children’s show, made for kids ages five to 10. The show is divided in four segments. There is, of course, a learning component, but it’s also entertaining. It includes songs and activities that the kids at home could participate in.
