On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the full list of nominations for the 95th Annual Oscars! Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the awards show will air live on Sunday, March 12th on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Each January, the entertainment community of industry professionals and film lovers from around the world set their sights excitedly on the announcement of Oscar nominations. As filmmakers’ names are read aloud, viewers rejoice in unison while learning which artists and movies are in consideration for some of the highest honors in filmmaking. During the subsequent weeks and all through the glamour of Oscar night, the enthusiasm heightens between memorable moments on the red carpet and the eventual unveiling of envelopes containing winners’ names.
