Annetta Marion is a Primetime Emmy-nominated director and showrunner who has worked on shows for NBC, Netflix, ESPN, OWN, MTV, VH1, Apple+ and Investigation Discovery; working with premium talent like Michael J. Fox, Oprah and Dwayne Johnson. Her work has won multiple awards including NAACP Image Awards, Gracie Awards and NAMIC Vision Awards. She is originally from North Huntingdon township in western Pennsylvania and has credits on over 80 hours of television.
Dana Offenbach is an award winning filmmaker and member of the prestigious Producers Guild of America and New York Women in Film & Television. She is the founder and owner of CinemaStreet Pictures, Inc. which develops and produces original content across all platforms. Her films have won Best Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay, Best of Festival, Best Short Film, World Premiere Honors, and an NAACP Nomination for Outstanding Independent Feature. Dana has had a long and varied journey telling stories, and her credits include feature films, shorts, television commercials, awards show segments, digital content, documentaries, music videos, etc.
Marcella Steingart is an Emmy winning producer, writer, director and showrunner with over 20 years experience in the industry. She began her career writing fiction screenplays and treatments after earning her MFA from NYU Tisch School of Film and Television.
Marcella has worked on award winning feature documentaries, series, short films and branded content for clients like Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Studios, Showtime, BBC, CNN, Discovery Channel, PBS, OWN, GAP, IBM, and Google. Some of Marcella’s acclaimed work includes the documentary feature, Judy Blume Forever, which will premiere at Sundance in 2023, the Emmy winning featurette, Who Are You, Charlie Brown?, the Emmy nominated Netflix series Abstract: Art of Design, acclaimed CNN Series, Death Row Stories, DarkNet, an original Showtime series, the NAACP Image Award winning series, Oprah’s Master Class, Cannes Lion winning short film series, What is Watson?, and the YouTube series, Prodigies, which received the International Academy of Web TV Award for best documentary series.
NYWIFT CEO, Cynthia López (Moderator) is an award-winning media strategist, and former Commissioner of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, where she implemented strategies to support film and TV production throughout the five boroughs. López is the recipient of many coveted industry awards including: 11 News and Documentary Emmy Awards, a Special Emmy Award for Excellence in Documentary Filmmaking, three Peabody Awards, and two duPont-Columbia Awards. In addition, she received the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) Award for Commitment to Corporate Diversity. Prior to working as Commissioner, López was Executive Vice President and co-Executive Producer of the award-winning PBS documentary series American Documentary | POV, and was involved in the organization’s strategic growth and creative development for 14 years. Her ability to forge strategic partnerships among corporate and public interest media has been a signature of her work. Notable partnerships include: New York Times, Reuters, Al-Jazeera Network, Discovery Communications, The Moth, Story Corps, Harpo Studios and ABC News, NIGHTLINE with Ted Koppel. López is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), and is proud to have spent her career collaborating with independent filmmakers across all portions of the film and television industry. She served on the Board of Trustees for the Paley Center, NYC & Company, Museum of the Moving Image and the Tribeca Film Institute Latin America Fund Advisory Board. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Latino Public Broadcasting, Manhattan Neighborhood Network and Hunter College IMA Program.
