WFPF Award: Major congratulations to NYWIFT’s Women’s Film Preservation Fund (WFPF), which received the Archivist’s Round Table of Metropolitan New York’s 2019 Outstanding Support of Archives award last week. The award recognizes an individual or organization for notable contributions to archival records or archives programs through political, financial or moral support.
DOC NYC: There are more than 20 projects featuring NYWIFT members in a key role screening at DOC NYC next month! It’s wonderful to see so many members of our community represented and recognized for their outstanding work.
Kathryn Hahn: Loved this New York Times feature on Kathryn Hahn, whose new series Mrs. Fletcher just debuted on HBO. “The sort of raw, unadorned, often private sensuality that Hahn portrays so well feels like something new, a terrain that television has only recently begun to dig into. “

Welcome to NYWIFT, Nicole Murray! Nicole is a producer, writer, actor, and co-founder of Svelte Dog Productions. She has produced and acted in various productions, including the feature films Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox and Death Perception, both receiving distribution this year.
