This workshop will cover building a portfolio, materializing your art-form on your website, taking workshops and classes, getting an agent, curating your photos and social media to your audience, building your resume, pitching presentations and navigating the language and behavior of the entertainment industry, to be seen, understood and well-received.
Diana Lote, Casting Director & Development Producer, combines 15 years of leadership experience in New York, Los Angeles to Miami to further develop talent and programming for film and television nationwide. Leading the artistic management business, Common Thread Development, Lote guides actors, writers, artists, entrepreneurs and production teams towards materializing their talents into sustainable careers and translating them directly to the market. CTD creates content for television, using Lote’s talent representation and producing background, that focuses on character driven stories that empower the human condition. Some of her previous casting and production credits include ViceLand, NBC’s SVU and Shades of Blue, Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, Narcos, The Get Down and BoJack Horseman, along with countless commercial campaigns and indie film projects. Lote and Common Thread continue to cast and develop passionate artists who transcend emotion, translate their passions to the world and help to evolve humanity.
