Ghost Ghirls Trailer

Television programming continues its march online, and with Halloween just around the corner, it’s a great time to check out Yahoo Screen Originals‘ new series, Ghost Ghirls, a comedic web series featuring Angelica and Heidi, two ghost-busting women solving paranormal cases. Created by and starring Amanda Lund and Maria Blasucci, each episode features not only the bumbling ghost hunters Angelica and Heidi but also a parade of comedic cameos by Molly Shannon, Val Kilmer, Jack Black, Colin Hanks and Bob Odenkirk.

Angelica and Heidi often start out flailing and clueless but always end up working well together as a team to solve the cases. The dialogue is snappy and the actresses’ reactions to situations are often comedy gold. While one or two episodes end up misfiring, each episode is only 10 minutes long so there is always time to watch one more and be impressed by the talents of Ms. Lund and Ms. Blasucci. 

Move over Ghostbusters, the Ghost Ghirls have arrived.
