Holy Croissoli is the story of a pastry chef whose newest confection, the croissoli, is all the rage. Afraid of becoming just a season trend, Desmond,"the croissoli guy" is eager to create his next big thing and make his mark in pastry history. However, with all the fans and autograph seekers, it's hard to remember whats truly important in life. It's not about the pastry, it's about who you eat it with. The film examines our world of instant gratification and over-night celebrity through the lens of food and pastry.

Savannah Rice moved to NYC in 2013 and began by doing window displays at Macy's Herald Square and interning at New York Women in Film and Television. After crewing on many films she decided to continue her studies under CUNY's Bachelor program for unique and interdisciplinary studies. Now with one semester left before graduating with her personally designed degree in film producing and production design, she is making her directorial debut with Holy Croissoli. Savannah thanks you for your support.

Holy Croissoli has received recognition by the Kickstarter creative team by being added to their "Projects we love" category, from the METRO NY, and from NYC locals who were the first to try the Croissoli, the hybrid pastry that was invented for the film.
