Reception and Presentation Celebrating the Rehersal Club
NYWIFT Members are invited to a presentation and reception celebrating the 100th Anniversary of The Rehearsal Club. The Rehearsal Club was a residence for young, struggling actresses from 1913 to 1979. The Katherine Hepburn movie, Stage Door, was based on the Rehearsal Club.

40 Lincoln Center Plaza (Amsterdam @ 64th)

Historical presentation, panel discussion, and a musical presentation from Good Girls Only, a new musical based on The Rehearsal Club.

8 PM - 10 PM
NYWIFT and the WAM Coalition are co-hosting a reception in honor of Rehearsal Club Alum from around the country and celebrating of the 100th anniversary  of the RC.

Join us to celebrate! There will be finger food and a cash bar. Open to members and their guests. you are welcome at to come to both the presentation and the reception, or just come to the reception if you would like. No RSVP necessary.
