Seven Women Seven Sins: Support Our Indiegogo to Save 1986 Film
Our Women's Film Preservation Fund has launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise $17,000 to preserve the film Seven Women Seven Sins (1986).
We need your support!
Spread the word using this toolkit.
All donations are tax-deductible — plus, you can get fantastic Indiegogo incentives. Once the film has been preserved we can provide access to it through screening prints and DVDs for public viewing.
The women directors for the seven sins were amongst the world's most renown: Helke Sander (GLUTTONY), Bette Gordon (GREED), Maxi Cohen (ANGER), Chantal Akerman (SLOTH), Valie Export (LUST), Laurence Gavron (ENVY), and Ulrike Ottinger (PRIDE). The final film reflected this diversity, including traditional narrative fiction, experimental video, a musical, and a radical documentary.
$43,000 is needed to preserve this important work. We have already raised $25,000 in cash and in-kind services. Our goal is to raise $17,000 through this campaign. Anything you can donate will help us to get closer to that goal.
