NYWIFT ExperTEAs with Bevy Smith
This month we continue our new members only series – NYWIFT ExperTEAs! —designed to connect you with an expert in your field and help you meet others on the same path to career success.
Our guest for November is media maven
Bevy Smith
, TV’s go-to gal-about-town for on-air and social media commentary on all things pop culture, entertainment and fashion. Share a cup of tea and conversation with the woman
The New York Times
dubbed a “socialite and noted hostess” in reference to her “Dinner With Bevy” events, where she links marketers and celebrities with movers and shakers in various fields. This accomplished industry professional will speak candidly about her road to achievement and the lessons she's learned along the way. You’ll have the opportunity to ask Bevy questions, as well as network with fellow members in a friendly and intimate setting.
Despite her ever-growing media empire, Bevy still finds time to give back in her many philanthropic pursuits including Russell Simmons’ annual Art for Life event, the Cool Culture organization, the Fashion for Action host committee, and the Blackhouse Foundation. While Bevy has set her sights on a Malibu Beach cottage, she currently lives and loves in her beloved neighborhood of Harlem.
Produced by Robyn Watson.
