Ylana is an actress, writer and singer whose credits include: Playing Alexina (Theatre of Necessity, NY); Miracle at Merryvale (Ensemble Studio Theatre, NY) and In the Family Way (produced and directed by fellow NYWIFT member Rachel Gordon - currently in post-production.) She previously served on the board of directors of CineWomen NY. Ylana holds a Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA. She serves on NYWIFT's Programming and Special Events Committees, and has helped produce costuming and make up workshops. Ylana associate-produced several educational shorts for the Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park Visitors Center in Middlebrook, Missouri (produced and directed by fellow NYWIFT member Geralyn Abinader.)
